This project is a conceptual piece created during the Covid-19 pandemic.
The concept is based around the feeling of confusion a lot of artists and creatives are struggling with currently.
It focuses on our desire to escape the new world created by covid, without explicity mentioning the current affairs.
I've used the idea of uncertainty created in a 'bad trip' to convey the strangness of the 'new normal'.
The zine is presented in the same tounge in cheek style of the other "lazy hazey dayz" projects. A children's book not made for children.
Although the images are fun and quirky , I hope that a clear message of comfort comes through. Even though our current world seems surreal, we are not alone. Others are experiencing the same 'bad trips' caused by a worldwide pandemic and all we can do is do our best in a situation that seems impossible.
